Abstract
PURPOSE:To unnecessitate a member used exclusively for feeding lubricating oil, by employing such an arrangement that a groove formed in a vane is communicated with an opening of an oil passage at least when the vane is most protruded from a cylinder toward the center of a cylindrical compression chamber. CONSTITUTION:Part of a groove 11 formed in a vane 9 at its surface held in contact with a second frame member 5 is always immersed in oil 12. Further, an oil passage 13 is formed in the second frame member 5 such that one end of the oil passage 13 is opened in a lubricating section 14 while the other end is opened on the sliding path of the vane 9 in its surface kept in contact with the vane 9. Here, arrangement is such that the groove 11 and the oil passage 13 are communicated with each other when the vane 9 is most protruded from a cylinder 6 toward the center of a cylindrical compression chamber but the groove 11 is not communicated with the oil passage 13 when the extent of protrusion of the vane 9 is less than at least half of the maximum protrusion of the vane 9.
