Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain tool correction with high accuracy without a binding condition between shape of a model and tool diameter, by performing the correction of the tool while always observing the direction of a tool center displacement vector and a tracer model contact vector. CONSTITUTION:Controls of each axis are assigned for a numeric control NC device 28 and a tracer control TC device 30 with an axis switching device 32 in response to a tracing parameter instruction inputted from an input device 34. Further, interruption is given at every constant interval of time, motors 36X, 36Y and 36Z are driven with the command from the devices 28 and 30 and a tracer 26 moves on a model 16 for a copy measurement. At each sampling time, a tracer displacement vector is detected with the tracer 26 and an NC displacement vector is detected with a position detector 40.
