Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the oxidation and the embrittlement of the current feeding wire while to improve the reliability, by performing the heating gas discharging process of the light emission tube and the heating//refining process of the filler in the tube while holding the current feeding wire in the inert gas. CONSTITUTION:At first the heating gas discharging process of the tube body 1 of the light emission tube is performed while evacuating through an exhaust tube 2, then after passing through the discharge while filling the rare gas and the vacuum exhaustion process of the rare gas it will enter into the gas discharge//refining process of the filler. In this process the electric furnace 3 is maintained at about 800 deg.C while evacuating the tube body 1, thus to perform the gas discharge of the filler. The current feeding wires 6a, 6b to the main electrodes 7a, 7b will blow the inert gas such as N2 from the inert gas feeding circuit through the tubes 8a, 8b and holds in the inert gas ambience. Consequently the oxidation and the embrittlement of the current feeding wire can be prevented.
