Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve illuminating efficiency by providing a main reflection part and auxiliary reflection parts to an intermediate mirror and providing a function of reflecting light so as to conduct the same to the slit region on stage glass when a light source is in a prescribed position or deviates therefrom. CONSTITUTION:An intermidiate mirror of a light condensing device has a main reflection part 40C1 in the central part and auxiliary reflection parts 40C2, 40C3 adjacently respectively to the top and bottom thereof. While a light source 1 is in the focal position of a reflector 3, the reflected luminous flux from the reflector is reflected by the part 40C1 and arrives at a slit region S. When the light source 1 deviates to the left from the above-mentioned focal position, the luminous flux emitted from the reflector is reflected at the part 40C3 and arrives at the region S as shown by solid lines. It is possible to improve illuminating efficiency by conducting the light always in the region S in this way.
