Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a scale for X-ray photographing which is small in size and light in weight and has a high accuracy, by burying a reference scale made of a material having a relatively high X-ray absorption in a material having a relatively low X-ray absorption. CONSTITUTION:A prism 10 made of aluminum is used as a material having a relatively low X-ray absorption, and a reference scale 12 composed of a lead rod having a relatively high X-ray absorption is buried in a hole section 14 opened in the prism 10. The reference scale 12 is completely enclosed with a bonding agent 16 charged into the hole 14.
