Abstract
PURPOSE:To uniform the service and to improve the using efficiency of a line, by determining the propriety of selection of the line through the number of used lines and all the idle lines predetermined depending on each call type of lines commonly used with a lot of different calls. CONSTITUTION:When a relay station has a call to a common line, a memory 53 is addressed with the type of calls, and the number of used lines of the types of calls and the predetermined holding and stop call number are read out in a register 59. A comparator 58 generates a signal indicating the possibility of line selection when the number of used lines is small. A comparator 57 compares all the idle lines and the predetermined number of holding lines given from registers 51 and 52, and when the number of idle lines is greater than the predetermined number, a signal indicating the possibility of line selection is generated. A signal of comparators 57 and 59 is outputted to a terminal 65 via an OR circuit 62 as a signal indicating the propriety of selection of a common line.
