Abstract

927,507. Automatic exchange systems. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. March 30, 1961 [April 4, 1960], No. 11826/61. Drawings to Specification. Class 40 (4). In a system in which a connection may be set up automatically between two stations for the purpose of transmitting data or information of an emergency character, the called station sends back a recognition signal which is checked at the calling station and initiates the transmission of information. If the correct recognition signal is not received the setting up of the connection may be repeated at intervals a certain number of times after which an alarm may be given if the call is still unsuccessful. The recognition signal takes the form of impulses and may be the actual number of the called station.
