Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the distortion rate and simplify the circuit, by making it so arranged that two diodes having inverse polarity against each other are connected in series under condition of AC and the signal electric current compensates the bias electric current of the diodes, namely influences of the bias current which are given to the working resistance. CONSTITUTION:A signal inputted from a terminal A is attenuated by an amount which is equal to the working resistance of diodes (D) 1 and 2, and outputted from another terminal B. At this time, the working resistance of the Ds 1 and 2 at the time of small signal is decided by the bias current of the Ds which flows depending on the DC voltage impressed upon a terminal C. However, at the time of large signal, the bias current of the Ds is varied by the instantaneous signal current and instantaneous working resistances of each D1 and 2 are also varied. However, since the Ds 1 and 2 are arranged so that their polarity may be inverse against each other against the signal path, the instantaneous signal current will decrease the bias current of the D2 when the current increases the bias current of the D1. Therefore, the instantaneous working resistance will be decreased at the D1 and increased at the D2, and thus, the sum of the working resistance at both Ds 1 and 2 is compensated to become constant.
