Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to machine a crank pin in a single chucking performance with one machine tool by installing a cylinder, which shifts an eccentric journal holder, to the main shaft line of a machine tool for two crank pins which are eccentric to the journal and are provided with a different phase angle respectively. CONSTITUTION:A chuck 13 is fixed to the end of a main shaft 12. A shift base 15 is installed inside the chuck 13. A journal holder 16 is fitted and fixed to the shaft base 15. A shift cylinder 17 is formed in the chick 13 and moves the shift base 15 to the position where the shift base 15 is corrided against two stoppers 19 and 21. When machining performance for a crank P1 is finished at the position of the first stopper 19, the shift base 15 is moved by the shift cylinder 17 up to the position of second stopper 21 and machining of the crank P2 is started.
