Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently detect a variation of resonance frequency, by joining a conductive member which is higher in its conductivity than a conductive layer, to the conductive layer provided in order to reproduce recording information by a variation of electrostatic capacity. CONSTITUTION:A metallic plate 301 having high electric conductivity such as copper, etc. is provided in one body in the inside of a conductive layer 101, and its thickness is regulated to 0.1-1mm.. When a reproducing stylus 202 having a microscopic metallic electrode 201 is brought into contact with a disk 401 and a variation of electrostatic capacity between the disk 401 and the microscopic metallic electrode 201 is detected as a variation of resonance frequency of a resonance circuit 205, it is realized to reproduce information recorded by a bit 103. The conductive layer 101 is operated only as a conductor in a small distance from a surface insulating layer 102 under the microscopic electrode 201 to the metallic conductive plate 301. Accordingly, circuit resistance of the resonance circuit 205 is small and a Q value of the circuit can be elevated, therefore, a variation of resonance frequency due to a change of the electrostatic capacity can be detected efficiently and by a low noise.
