Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve easy manufacture of an information recording disc and to increase the performance, by providing a dielectric substance layer to give a static capacitance in response to uneven pattern on the information recording disc between the disc and a reproducing stylus at the side of the stylus. CONSTITUTION:A conductive layer 12 is coated on an insulating base 11 formed with uneven pattern corresponding to the information on the surface of an information recording disc 11 and a wear-proof member 13 is coated. On the stylus 2, a conductive layer 22 and a dielectric substance layer 23 are coated on the side of an insulation base 21. A tip 22a of the conductive layer is backwarded than a tip 21a of the base 21. The layer 23 is coated on the base between the conductive layer 22 and the tip 22a of the conductive layer. In this reproducing device, when the tip of the stylus 2 is contacted on the surface of the disc 1 and moved relatively, an electric signal can be picked up as a change in the static capacitance in response to the uneven pattern on the disc 1.
