Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable detection of a magnetic field vector at a high accuracy by determining correction coefficients for the vector in the rectangular cordinate system. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic field vector detector 1 is set on a rotatable base 2 on the geometrical center 0 and the angle of rotation thereof is detected by reading an angular graduation 3 on a fixed base 4. The detector 1 is excited by a.c. with the output of an excitation circuit 2' until the magnetic core thereof is saturated. The x' component and the y' component of each detection coil are synchronously rectified 5' and 6' by extracting second high frequency component with BPFs 3' and 4' and specified phase and time portions are fetched. After an alternate A-D conversion 10 thereof with an analog switch 7, they are sent to a calculalter 11 to compute the absolute value and the magnetic declination thereof and correction coefficients thereof are determined to be memorized into a memory 12.
