Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain an accurate nuclear magnetic resonance signal by single measurement by providing two detection systems that differ in phase by 90° and then by performing arithmetic processing on the basis of data obtained from two detection systems.
CONSTITUTION: A detection signal obtained from the detection coil of probe 4 in accordance with the magnetic-field sweep of sweeping circuit 6 is supplied to phase detectors 8 and 9 by way of amplifier 7. Phase detector 8 is supplied with a high- frequency signal from oscillator 5 directly, and phase detector 9 is supplied with the signal by way of 90° phase shifter 10. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) signals obtained by phase detectors 8 and 9 are sent to memory 13 by way of A/D converters 11 and 12 and stored there. By using two kinds of NMR signals stored in memory 13, arithmetic unit 14 performs phase correction processing following prescribed procedure to obtain two kinds of corrected NMR signals. Those NMR signals are recorded by recorder 15. Thus, correct NMR signals can be obtained by the single measurement.
