Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the measurement easy and accurate by providing a protruded part whose brightness is different from that of other blades on the maximum diameter part of one blade of a rotor for a turbocharger, and using it for an accurate zero degree phase in measuring unbalance. CONSTITUTION:The protruded part 4, which is protruded by (h) of about 0.4mm. even after the machining, is provided on the maximum diameter part 3B of one of 10 blades 3 of the turbine rotor of the turbocharger. Since the other 9 blades have a casting face and only the protruded part has the polished machined surface, the bright and dark contrast is obtained at the protruded part 4. In measuring the unbalance of the turbine rotor, a laterial type microbalance is used. The brightness of the protruded part 4 can be readily recognized by a photosensor, and the result is used as the accurate zero degree phase. Therefore wire drawing by magic ink and the like is not required, and the unbalance can be measured readily and accurately.
