Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve color reproducibility by increasing the quantity of information for controlling flip-flop inverting operation so as to prevent information inputted to a one-horizontal-period inverting circuit throughout a horizontal period. CONSTITUTION:The main circuit of a TV receiver consists of a color signal amplifier 3, a burst extracting and detecting circuit 15, a 1/2 horizontal frequency tuning circuit 19, a limiter 20, a circuit 16 which performs inverting operation in every horizontal period, and a circuit 17 integrating the output of the circuit 16, and a flip-flop circuit 12 is connected to the circuit 16. Thus, the circuit 19 is connected to the output side of the circuit 15 to obtain a sine wave of a 1/2 horizontal frequency, and this sine wave is shaped by the limiter 20 into pulses, which are supplied to the circuit 16. Then, the information signal inputted to the circuit 16 is present throughout the horizontal period, and an integration output increases. Further, control over the flip-flop circuit 12 is exercised accurately even during use in a weak electric-field area of SECAM signals, and sufficient control voltages are obtained to eliminate malfunction.
