Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the reliability of a time limit circuit, by providing a detection circuit detecting the lapse of a prescribed time and a storage circuit storing the result of detection. CONSTITUTION:An output of a transistor TR4 connected to a time limit element 3 is applied to a terminal T of a DFF11 being a storage circuit. A power supply 1 is applied to this FF11 at all times and a reset circuit consisting of a capacitor 12 and a resistor 13 is provided. When a switch 2 is closed, and the time exceeds the set time and the TR4 turns on, then the terminal T of the FF11 goes to high level. Thus, the output Q goes to high and keeps this high level independently of the level of the terminal T. Then, the state of the output Q after the set time is not subject to the effect of the time limit element 3. Thus, the reliability of the time limit circuit can be increased with a simple circuit.
