Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction when an output of a comparator is unstable, by outputting an output when a power supply voltage is lowered than the minimum operating voltage of the comparator, in a circuit controlling the output through the detection of the power supply voltage drop with the comparator. CONSTITUTION:A power supply voltage Vcc is applied to a comparator 12, and a voltage dividing the voltage Vcc to a noninverting input terminal with resistors r1 and r2 and a constant voltage is applied to an inverting input terminal. If the power supply voltage is lowered than a constant voltage, an output of the comparator 12 goes to L, an output circuit of an NAND circuit 21 goes to H, a transistor (TR)22 turns on and an output TR15 is cut off. If the power supply voltage Vcc is lowered than the minimum operating voltage of the comparator 12, although the output is unstable, the TR15 cannot be turned on due to the voltage drop of diodes D1-Dn.
