CONSTITUTION:When an operation start signal is sent out from a controlling circuit 7, a selecting circuit 5 selects an operation data which is provided from the controlling circuit 7 when the operation start signal is logical ''1'', and stores it in a register 1. An operation data of the register 1 is shifted and updated by 4 bits each, and on the other hand, this data is provided to a deciding circuit 8, and whether it is zero or not is decided on all such occasions. If it is decided that a data is zero, a signal to be outputted to a signal line 60 is made logical ''0'' and its shift is stopped immediately so that a result of operation can be derived. Accordingly, not only the number of times of a shift but also a shift time can be reduced.
