Abstract
PURPOSE:To precisely perform fine positioning by arraying the 1st-3rd photoelectric groups on an optical path at an equal interval and setting the stopping value of luminous flux corresponding to the 2nd photoelectric element group so as to differ from that corresponding to the 3rd photoelectric element group. CONSTITUTION:Photoelectrically converted output signals of a1, a2...an bits constituting the 1st photoelectric element group 1 are applied to multiplexer circuits 11 through respective logarithmic amplifiers 10. Outputs from the multiplexers 11 are applied to an alpha differential amplifier 12A and a beta differential amplifier 12B to find light ratio between adjacent bits and then the amplified outputs are applied to integral networks 14 through absolute value circuits 13 to find the sum of values. Outputs from the integral networks are applied to a differential amplifying circuit 15 to find the difference between the alpha and beta signals and the differential signal N is obtained from an output terminal 16.
