Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve a low band noise, by constituting so that break frequency of a low band noise characteristic of an image pickup element output amplifier is made to approach a noise improving limit frequency of a clamping circuit by an equalizing circuit, and clamping a clamp reference signal. CONSTITUTION:A signal 1a read out from a solid image pickup element 10 is amplified to a suitable level by a preamplifier 30, and makes only a video signal 2a pass through by a low-pass filter 40. The video signal 2a is inputted to an equalizing circuit 50 at first, and by the equalizing circuit 50, a signal 3a whose break frequency having a 1/f noise component has been changed in the proximity of fLKHz from fA is outputted. The outputted signal 3a is inputted to a clamping circuit 60 and is clamped, by which a low band noise becomes a signal 4a having the same noise level as a high band noise. Also, the signal 4a passes through an equalizing circuit 70, its frequency characteristic is compensated, and after all, it becomes a signal whose low band noise has been improved, such as a signal 5a.
