As the power supply voltage rises due to an increase of revolutions under this condition, the voltage E also rises, and when the relation between a charging voltage V3 of an R12C2 circuit and a reference voltage V4 by resistors R15, R16 becomes V3>V4, the output from the comparator 3 is made H, grounding transistors Q4 with Q3 through a resistor R19, and the relay II is turned off to cut the current flow to the glow plug. Accordingly, failures of the glow plug can be prevented from occurring.
