CONSTITUTION:A start clutch operation detector circuit 74 detects disengagement operation in a clutch disengagment detector 80, when low or reverse shift is detected by a speed changer selector switch 82 connected to the circuit 74, a detector 84 detects the separation of a throttle velve from an idle position or a detector 86 detects not higher than a preset car speed approximate to a stop, and the clutch operation to disengagement is decided for the start operation, then the second control sircuit 66 is operated to generate an all cylinder operation instruction. Accordingly, in a disengagement state when the circuit 74 is combined with the switch 82 or the car speed detector 86, or immediately before clutch engagement when the circuit is combined with the detector 84, changeover is performed to all cylinder operation, and an engine stop due to shortage of output can be prevented.
