Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to monitor the state of other systems at all times, independently of the presence/absence of a connecting line between both the controlling systems, by providing a status information storage section for a switching controlling section so that the controlling section can always be confirmed at a constant period from both the systems. CONSTITUTION:A status register 9 has an area storing status information as shown in Figure. Every time refresh timers 14 and 15 receive command signals A and B, refreshing is made. If either one system is in failure, since no command signal is given to a corresponding timer, the timer is in time-up. This output is a signal representing the failure of the system and stored in the status register 9. A scanning signal S is supplied from both the control systems and the status information of the register 9 can be read. A bus switching controlling section 22 determines which of buses 21, 19 or 20 is connected based on the status information and a bus driver/receiver 17 or 18 is driven.
