Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A muscle relaxant especially active both to peripheral and to central systems, is obtained by using 1,4-bis(2-pyrimidinyl)piperazine of formula, its salt, or its hydrate as an active component. The content of the compound in the agent is 20W80wt%, preferably 40W60wt%. The agent can be sterilized and/ or incorporated with a preservative, stabilizer, wetting agent, emulsifier, isotonic agent, suspension stabilizer, flavoring agent, etc. Dose of the above active component is 0.25W2.0g/day, preferably 0.5W1.0g/day for oral administration, and 0.02W0.2g/day, preferably 0.05W0.1g/day for intravenous injection or intramuscular injection.
