Abstract

PURPOSE:To execute a safe operation of an electronic computer, by additionally providing a counting circuit so that an output register does not output an insignificant signal even in case of runaway of the electronic computer. CONSTITUTION:A signal outputted to an output register controlling circuit from a central controller MPU1 consists of 3 signals of A, B and C. Data of the MPU1 is supplied to an external device through an output register 5. In this state, when a counting circuit 3 is additionally provided on an A signal system, the circuit 3 is started by write timing of the circuit 4, and until it becomes a necessary counting value, a signal for approving an input of the register 5 is supplied to the circuit 4. If runaway of the MPU1 occurs, the signal A is generated by the timing different from the write timing, therefore, the signal A inhibits an output of the circuit 4 by the circuit 3, and the signal caused by the runaway is obstructed by the circuit 4.
