Abstract
PURPOSE:To aim at preventing, for example, the lag of fuel supply in a mixture creating device consisting of an intake air duct, a throttle valve and a fuel supply device, by providing an ultrasonic vibrator in the inner wall of the intake air duct downstream of the throttle valve, for atomizing the liquid film of fuel. CONSTITUTION:Fuel 4 ejected from a fuel supply device 3 and corresponding to the volume of air flowing in an intake air duct 1, is, in part, formed into liquid drops 4a which are carried by air stream, after the fuel 4 impinges to a throttle valve 5, and then the fuel in the form of liquid drops is fed to an engine 6. The remaining part of the fuel 4 forms a liquid film 4a which flows along the inner wall of the intake air duct 1, and is, in part, evaporated and supplied to the engine 6. In the device as above-metioned, a ring shaped ultrasonic vibrator 8 driven by a vibrator 10, is arranged in the inner wall of the intake air duct 1 by being supported with a holding member. With this arrangemet, the above mentioned liquid film 4b is atomized by the ultrasonic vibrator 8 so that atomized fuel 4c is created and supplied to the engine 6, thereby, for example, the prevention of supply lag of th fuel 4 becomes possible.
