Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an ink sheet suitable for electric-current-sensitized transfer recording, capable of producing an image with high resolution and high density, by a method wherein an ink layer comprising a coloring matter dispersed in a thermoplastic resin is laminated on a base layer comprising a conductive powder dispersed in a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:On a base layer 1a comprising a conductive powder such as carbon black dispersed uniformly in a binder resin such as polyvinyl butyral, is laminated an ink layer 1b comprising a coloring matter such as phthalocyanine dispersed uniformly in a thermoplastic resin, such as paraffin wax, to obtain the objective ink sheet wherein the intrinsic surface resistances of the layers are such that, when an image signal voltage is impressed, an electric current can pass through the base layer 1b but can not pass through the ink layer 1a.
