PURPOSE:To obtain the device in the title wherein a second heater having a thermal time constant approximately equal to that of a head part is provided directly in front of a temperature detecting device for the liquid before heating, and thermal overshoot of the liquid temperature can be prevented when the device is restarted after the short time OFF period. CONSTITUTION:The second heater 14 is constituted so that a power element 17 is operated as a heater at the time of steady state control and ink is heated through a heat radiating plate 16 and an electric heating plate 15. The thermal capacity of the heater 14 is made approximately equal to the thermal capacity of a head part. The thermal capacity of a first heater 4 is made very small. When a power souce is turned OFF and then immediately turned ON, the fall of the temperature B' of the heater 4 is the same as the fall of the temperature C' of the ink. Therefore, the large overshoot of the temperature of the ink, which flows into the head 1, is not generated and the device is stabilized.
