Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent said humidifier from damage and to keep its performance in normal conditions by controlling a heater and an oscillation circuit through a temperature sensor for detecting freezing temperature of atomizing water.
CONSTITUTION: A thermistor 10 is fitted as a temperature sensor in an oscillator fitting tube 3 made of a metal of excellent thermal conductivity and a freezing detecting circuit 13 is composed of this thermistor and a resistor R3 and connected with a drive circuit 19 of a heater 11 and an oscillation output control circuit 20. Thereby, when the thermistor 10 detects the freezing temperature of atomizing water, the output of a voltage comparator A takes a high voltage and as soon as a heater 11 is driven and atomizing water is heated, the current supplied to an oscillation circuit 17 is flowed partially into the oscillation output control circuit 20 and decreased so that the ultrasonic oscillator B is stopped. Therefore, atomizing water in a cold district is prevented from freezing and the ultrasonic oscillator B is from loose driving.
