Abstract

PURPOSE:To record to a tape by adding the output signals of the recording equalizers of an FM-modulated luminance signal system and an FM-modulated sound signal system after switching the characteristics of the equializers in accordance with the kind of the magnetic tape differing in playback output and frequency characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The luminance FM recording signal from an input terminal 90, after passing through a high-pass filter 91 and a sound FM signal trapping circuit 92, is supplied to the 1st recording equalizer 93 switched in accordance with the kind of a magnetic tape, level-adjusted by the 2nd recording equalizer 94 switched in accordance with the kind of the magnetic tape, and then applied to an adder 4. The sound FM signal from an input terminal 100, on the other hand, passes through a low-pass filter 101, and is set to the best level by the 3rd recording equalizer 102 switched in accordance with the kind of the magnetic tape, and then added to said luminance FM signal by the adder 4, whose output is recorded on the tape 8 through a recording amplifier 11.
