Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a continuous unloader which can be simplified in structure to be lightened and save power consumption and which can unload with high efficiency without environmental pollution by transferring bulk material excavated by a self-propelled excavator onto the land through a lifter, a guide pipe and a boom conveyer which are subject to negative pressure in unloading coal from a ship. CONSTITUTION:The interior of a transport path comprising an excavator 7, guide pipes 8, 5, a boom conveyer 3 and a chute 9 is subjected to negative pressure by an inducing ventilator 11. The excavator 7 is remotely operated by a portable centralized control station 18 to excavate a cargo in a ship 19. Thus excavated bulk cargo is transported to a lifter 6 by a turning force of a built-in throwing device, and fed into the guide pipe 5 by a throw-up device built in the lifter 6 to be sucked up by negative pressure of the pipe 5. Then, the bulk cargo is settled down on the boom conveyer 3, and drops through a chute 9 to be carried out of a system by a jetty conveyer 10. Thus, the apparatus can be simplified in structure to be lightened and can accomplish a continuous unloading with high efficiency without environmental pollution.
