Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a titled steel plate having excellent interlayer resistance, blanking property, etc. by cold rolling a nondirectional electrical hot rolled steel strip with dull finishing rolls then coating specific insulation films on the outlet side of continuous annealing and subjecting the strip to skin pass rolling thereby preventing the seizure of the steel plate during stress relief annealing. CONSTITUTION:The treating liquid wherein an org. compd. (e.g.; a resin of water soluble type of acrylics or the like) is added to inorg. treating liquid consisting basically of phospate and/or chromate is prepd. as the above-described specific nondirectional electrical hot rolled steel strip is cold rolled with dull finishing rolls, and is annealed continuously, after which said inorg. treating liquid is coated on the steel plate obtained on the outlet side thereof and is backed, whereby the amt. of the films is controlled to <=3g/m<2>. The coated and backed steel plate is subjected to skin pass rolling by using skin pass rolling oil (e.g.; rolling oil of oily type of high viscosity) then to mechanical shape leveling, whereby the intended nondirectional electrical steel plate is obtained.
