Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve both characteristics for dynamic transient stability and dynamic static stability, by varying the negative feedback amount to the amplifier in a control circuit by a signal reset circuit and limiter according to the rate of the variation of input signal. CONSTITUTION:The voltage of a power line 1 is compared with set voltage to be inputted into an automatic pulse phase shifter 8 via the control circuit 7 to control the field 3 of the synchronous machine 2 by controlling the thyristor 4 for the constant adjustment for voltage. Thereat, the control circuit 7 is constituted of a DC amplifier 9 and the signal reset circuit 10 and limiter 11 having saturation characteristic provided on the feedback loop of this amplifier 9. Therefore, low rate of the variation of input signal does not operate the limiter 11 but high one does for high gain in the high frequency of the control circuit 7 to secure both of dynamic transient stability and dynamic static stability.
