PURPOSE:To obtain a simple-constitution and high-reliabilty controlling system for an electric dust collector or the like, by breaking the AC input of a power supply part in accordance with a voltage lowering signal by a controlling part which receives the voltage lowering signal only in the waiting state. CONSTITUTION:A CPU31 is initialized in accordance with a program, and a thyristor 13 is ignited by an ignition command signal Sd from the CPU31, and the signal Sd is increased gradually after a certain time to set a power source voltage Vp to a set value. Next, the CPU31 is set to the interrupt enable state; and when a signal Ss reporting the lowering of the voltage Vp is inputted from a comparator 59 to the CPU31, the CPU31 starts the interrupt operation and issues an arc-distinguishing command signal Si to the thyristor 13 to stop the ignition of the thyristor 13. After a certain time, the CPU31 issues the ignition command signal Sd to the thyristor 13 to raise the power source voltage Vp gradually, and the CPU31 is set to the interrupt enable state again after the power source voltage Vp reaches the set value.
