Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the perfect cleaning for a magnetic brush after the development, by setting a magnet device in which a nonmagnetic matter is held between the magnetic matters between the repulsing magnets in a brush roll. CONSTITUTION:A magnet device is set between two repulsing magnets 7 fixed within a magnetic brush roll to control a repulsing magnetic field pattern. This magnet device is formed by attaching a nonmagnetic plate 9 at both side faces of a magnetic matters 8. The magnet device is extended lengthwise and along the inside surface of the roll 2. As a result, the repulsing magnetic field is controlled to avoid the second adsorption for the developer which is shaked down by the repulsing magnet at one side.
