Abstract

PURPOSE:To significantly improve the formability and the productivity of a tube plate part, in a centrifugal molding method of the hollow fiber type fluid separating apparatus, by using an org. polymer composition with specific properties as a curable substance. CONSTITUTION:Both opening end parts of plural hollow fiber bundles are perfectly sealed by using an org. polymer composition capable of being convered to a three-dimensional structure with a water adding volume ratio of 5% or less and the resulting sealed hollow fiber bundles are molded by using a curable casting material according to a centrifugal molding method to form a tube plate part. The above described water adding volume ratio means the amount of gas bubbles generated by reacting a curable substance with water remained in a cured substance untile said curable substance can be cured and, as the curable substance comprising an org. compound capable of taking the three-dimensional structure, a silicone resin and an epoxy resin are used. By this method, there are no invasion of a curing agent into the hollow part of a hollow fiber and no generation of gas bubbles and the yield ratio of the separating apparatus is enhanced.
