Abstract
PURPOSE:To stably and exactly control the pressure of a reactor by a method in which a pressure-inducting pipe is provided between a pressure regulating chamber and the reactor, noncorrosive fluid is filled in the pressure regulating chamber side, and highly corrosive fluid is filled in the reactor side. CONSTITUTION:In a plant handling a highly corrosive fluid, an almost N-shaped pressure-inducting pipe 13 is provided by connecting two U-shaped pipes between the bottom of a pressure regulator 12 with a heater and a pressure regulating meter and the inlet side of a reactor 10. And, a noncorrosive fluid, e.g., air, having a smaller density than that of a highly corrosive process fluid 11 and also incapable of mixing with the fluid 11 is filled in the pressure regulating chamber side of the pressure-inducting pipe 13, and also a highly corrosive process fluid 11 is filled in the reactor side. Thus, the pressure of the pressure regulator 12 is transmitted through a liquid 16 and fluids 15 and 14 to the process fluid 11, and the pressure of the process fluid 11 is therefore regulated stably and exactly.
