CONSTITUTION:A sounding signal from an input terminal 1 is supplied to a synchronous oscillator 10 via an amplifier 2, and a fundamental wave signal, included in the sounding signal, is fetched to supply it to a CPU. Then, the CPU counts and measures one period time of the fundamental wave signal, and a counter 16 counts and measures a clock pulse from an oscillator 14. A difference between the measurements and a reference scale frequency is displayed as a logarithm value in a dislay 8. With a switch 18 closed, the leftmost bit output of the counter 16 is supplied to a sounding substance control circuit 20 from an AND gate 17 to activate a sound from a sounding substance. This permits the easy production of a reference scale sound.
