Abstract

PURPOSE:To make high speed recording, medium contrast recording, etc. possible by the use of plain paper with a simple mechanism by forming direct toner images on a roll for press fixing by means of a multistylus electrode for recording the fixing the toner images on recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A recorder is constituted of a roll 1 for press fixing, a multistylus electrode 2 for recording, voltage pulses 3 for recording, a developing machine 4, a magnetic roll 5, a magnetic toner 6, recording paper 7, etc. The magnetic toner 6 conveyed by the roll 5 is transferred onto the roll 1 by applying the pulses 3 upon the electrode 2 to generate electric fields between the electrode 2 and the roll 1, whereby the toner images are formed on the roll for fixing. The toner images 10 are fixed and recorded on the paper 7 by a feed mechanism. The high speed recording and medium contrast recording are made possible with the simple mechanism by the use of plain paper.
