Abstract
PURPOSE:To satisfy required characteristics such as prominent heat conductivity, properties suitable for soldering, anti-corrosive properties and the like easily by a method wherein the fin member of cast blocks obtained heretofore by casting method or the like is integrated. CONSTITUTION:The fin member is constituted of copper which is alloyed except the surface layer thereof. In this case, the surface layer means a plate member having a given thickness at the surface side of the fin, however, it is not necessary that the whole periphery thereof is consisting of the copper material and the part of the alloy may be exposed at the rim side thereof. This surface layer is expected to utilize the prominent heat conductivity, properties suitable for soldering, anti-corrosive property or the like which are possesed by the copper of a high purity such as non-oxygen copper, deoxy-copper, pure copper or the like, for example, and the inner part thereof is expected to compensate the characteristics lacked in the surface layer. Sn, Ag, Mg, Zr, Cd, Cr or the like may be recommended as the chemical element to increase the heat-resistive property thereof, for example, while Ni, Zn, Be, Fe, Si, Mn or the like may be recommended as the chemical element improving the strength thereof, for example.
