PURPOSE:A fluorine compound emulsion that is made by emulsifying a specific fluoro-olefin compound of 10 carbon atoms as the major component in a physiologically permissible aqueous solution, thus being used as an oxygen-conceying carrier, blood cell substitute or perfusat for storing internal organs. CONSTITUTION:Mainly, a compound of formulaI(R1-R3 are F, CF3, CF2CF3, or CF2CF2CF3, formula II where R1-R3 are not F simultaneously and their carbon number totals 10) is emulsified in a physiologically permissible aqueous solution by 10-50, preferably 10-40w/v%, preferably in the presence of an emulsifier such as polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene copolymer of 6,000-17,000 molecular weight by 1-5w/v% to prepare the objective fluorine compound emulsion with high adaptability as a substitute of conventional fluorine compound used for medical purposes or blood cell substitute.
