Abstract
PURPOSE:To deliver only the normal synchronizing mark detection signal, by invalidating the synchronizing mark detection signal of a photoreceptor excepting those of the prescribed timing. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing mark 2 of a photoreceptor 1 for synchronizing control functions to inhibit the formation of an image at a joint part, etc. of the receptor 1. When the detection signal of the mark 2 is applied to a timer 5 via an AND gate 7, the output of the timer 5 is set at a high level. Thus the gate 7 is closed via an inverter 6 to invalidate the synchronizing mark inhibition signal excepting those of the prescribed timing. The time-up period of the timer 5 is slightly shorter than the detecting cycle period of the synchronizing mark of the prescribed timing. The gate 7 is opened again immediately before the following detecting cycle. As a result, only the normal synchronizing mark detection signal is delivered to prevent the process malfunction of a copying device.
