Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform surely monitoring of an abnormality of shaft voltage of a synchronous brushless machine by a method wherein a voltage between two points of a rotor shaft, a voltage between the rotor shaft and the earth, and a voltage between the neutral point of the secondary winding of an excitor and the earth are detected to compare the voltage values and the frequency values. CONSTITUTION:Slip rings 13 and brushes 14 for detection are provided at the two points of the rotor shaft 4 of a synchronous brushless machine, and the voltage between the two points are detected with a voltage detector 16. A resistor 15 is inserted between the rotor shaft and the earth, and the voltage is detected with a voltage detector 17. Moreover a slip ring 18 and a brush 19 for detection are connected to the neutral point of the secondary winding of the brushless excitor 5, and the voltage between the earth is detected with a voltage detector 21. Detected signals of the respective detectors 16, 17, 21 are inputted into a voltage comparing circuit 22 and a frequency comparing circuit 23 to be compared, and when an abnormality is generated, output is send out from an abnormality detecting circuit 24 to monitor the shaft voltage.
