Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect abnormal vibration early by a method wherein axial vibration signals are analyzed to frequency corresponding to operation modes, and the frequency is compared with set values every each component corresponding to each operation mode.
CONSTITUTION: Axial vibration signals 22 detected by means of a vibration detector 21 are inputted to a harmonic analyzer 101, harmonic analyzing signals 106 indicating magnitude every frequency component are put out while the signals 22 are inputted to a detection rectifier 102, and overall signals 107 are put out. These signals 106, 107 are inputted to a level comparator 104 with plant condition signals 108 put out from a plant condition discriminator 103, and compared with each frequency component, which corresponds to each plant condition put out from a level setter 105, and overall health level signals 109, and abnormal decision signals 110 are put out from the level comparator 104 when the signals are abnormal.
