Abstract
PURPOSE: To know the abnormality and kind by dividing the respective components for bands and record them in accordance with vibration detecting signals and a plurality of BPFs.
CONSTITUTION: When abnormal vibrations take place in a rotary body, the detected signals of frequency components peculiar to the causes for abnormality are fed to a sensor 10. The signals are then divided by one of plural BPFs 22 and are fed to a recorder 24 after they have been rectified and smoothened. In the recorder 24, the signals are compared with reference levels for respective bands so that a warning is generated, when they exceed the reference levels, while judging the kind of the abnormality at the same time.
