Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an antenna of high performance, by offset-feeding a primary radiator consisting of a pair of feeding horns provided with a passive reflector having frequency selectivity, deflecting each horn against the symmetrical surfaces containing the antenna mirror axis, and correcting a beam shift. CONSTITUTION:A right rotating feeding horn 4a and a left rotating feeding horn 4b are placed through a passive reflector, and the centers of feeding phase of the horn 4a, 4b are offset by a necessary quantity from a focus 3 and an image focus 30 against the surfaces (x), (y), and are placed so that radiant beams from a mirror generated by each horn 4a, 4b coincide with each other. As a result, when the horn 4a, 4b are placed so that each feeding phase center is brought in the vicinity of the focus 30 in the vicinity of the focus 3, respectively, by reflecting an F1 wave, and making an F2 wave pass through as it is, respectively, it is possible to get rid of the beam separation.
