Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the leakage of oil and increase the pump efficiency by inducing pressurized oil from the torque converter to the internal circumference end of the vanes of the vane type hydraulic pump, and energizing the vanes to be pushed outward from the rotor. CONSTITUTION:When the torque converter 28 is driven, and the rotor 24 is rotated by the sleeve 29a, the oil in the tank 31 is suctioned through the suction oil passage 30, and is discharged in the discharge oil passage 32. Pressure of the oil in the discharge oil passage 32 is controlled by the regulator valve 33, and a part of the oil is sent to the hydraulic pressure control device 41 and the other part is sent into the torque converter 28 through the orifice 34, the oil passage 35 and 36, internal diameter part of the rotor 24 and the oil passage 37. Therefore, the oil pressure applied to the inner diameter area of the rotor 24 acts to the ends of the internal circumference of the vanes 25 through the side of the rotor 24, pressing out the vanes toward outer circumferencial direction, and the vanes 25 are pressed to the inner diameter area of the cam ring 23.
