Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct the oil flow and improve the steering performance by forming the second variable orifice in response to steering loads downstream the first variable orifice formed by a drooping pin when steering in a high speed region. CONSTITUTION:A spool 6 is provided inside a valve housing 5, and a variable orifice 11 is formed by a drooping pin 15 provided on said spool 6 and a bulkhead 12. a solenoid 20 is fitted to the left end of the housing 5, and its plunger 23 is arranged coaxially with the pin 13. A head section 25 with a shape of a conical trapezoid is formed on the tip of the plunger 23. When the plunger 23 is protruded, the second orifice 28 is formed between the head section 25 and a cylinder section 26 which forms the port 11 of the bulkhead 12 downstream the first orifice 27 formed by said drooping pin 13.
