Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a device which prevents erroneous liquid level indication even when a liquid level is lowered by arranging a switching coil between a secondary coil and a temperature compensating coil, and also providing a limiting circuit which cuts off the output of the temperature compensating coil by the output of the switching coil. CONSTITUTION:A switching coil is arranged between a secondary coil and a temperature comepsating coil. When the level of a conductive liquid is lowered below that of the switching coil, a limiting circuit cuts off the output of the temperature compensating coil by the output of the switching coil. For example, a liquid level detection part 18 in a metallic sheath 24 has a switching coil 22 between a secondary coil 21 and a compensating coil 23. To its ouput terminal, a limiting circuit 38 connecting successively a rectifying circuit 34, a comparing circuit 35, an amplifying circuit 36, and a relay 38 is connected.
