Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the suction of the contaminated surface water layer of the river and the suction of the mud on the bottom face thus to take-in the good water at the intermediate layer, by providing a L-deck fixed with a velocity cap and a screen bar while positioning the take-in port higher than the water bottom face. CONSTITUTION:In a water take-in device associated with a submersible pump, a L-deck fixed with a velocity cap 4 and the screen bars 5, 5... is provided to prevent the suction of the contaminated surface water layer of the river, ocean or the lake while since the take-in port 6 is positioned higher than the water bottom face the mud at the bottom layer is never sucked thereby only the good quality water at the intermediate layer can be taken in. While since the flow-in of the dust is blocked by the screen bars 5, 5... at the take-in port, the pump mechanism is protected. Furthermore the position of the water take-in port can be stabilized resulting in the tipping of the pump due to the wave or the flow.
